Fire Trucks, feeding deer...what a SUnDaY

Spending Sunday together was really fun. We never know what is going to happen when dad is home for the weekend. We ended up buying Alexander RedCoat aka Alex, our new Doberman puppy and we even got to see more than eight different fire and emergency trucks at the Little Valley volunteer Fire House. LB's dream came true. He got to climb the fire truck ladder, sit on a rescue snow mobile, and pretend to gather patient information in an amblulance...to funny! We even got to feed deer at the home where we bought Alex, yes the deer are pets and they loved eating th pretzel gold fish crackers we were feeding them...Sunday...what a DAY! Gotta love when Beecher is home. Happy Thanksgiving family and friends! :)

end of sUmMeR in bUfFaLo

Yes....we grew those pumpkins right in our backyard in the Whiteaker Brother's Pumpkin Patch...and there are three more larger pumpkins still growing. We won't pick them until a little closer the Halloween. As you can see LB had a good time with some neighbor friends and Kai has taken after me and has a love for the piano....well maybe!?!? Sad to see the hot summer days come to an end...now its back to school and cool weather. I will try to enjoy this fall, for it is NOT yet winter here in Buffalo.

Kai Kai is ONE...

My "little KAI guy" is officially a ONE year old. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Maybe its our busy schedule. Kai celebrated his first birthday with some of our good friends here in Buffalo. Lots of dental families. Kai loved his giraffe cake. He is now a walker and actually started walking BEFORE his FIRST birthday!!! He loves playing with bouncy balls, soccer balls and the occasional truck or car...but I have a feeling he is going to be our sports kid! His favorite word is "ball"..we love it! Happy Birthday KAI KAI...we love you!

Our Backyard...

We spent the day outside, since dad is busy with studying at the moment...we decided to get creative in the BACKYARD. Bug catching, gardening "weed pulling", cars and trucks, playing in the sandbox, and of course lots of brother time!

So..the garden of Jesus, as I like to call it is growing...we now have Basil and Lettuce..pretty exciting..LB loves to help me pick a few things for dinner in the afternoon; however, he mostly picks things from the root...oh well, at least I am teaching him about being green and how to garden...happy summer everyone!
