So we spent the afternoon at the Buffalo Zoo with friends..thanks to Caitlin who bought the boys an early Birthday gift.The weather was fantastic, I think I even got a little tanned...

Save the Planet & your Children's Future...Think Green 4 Earth Day!

LB and Kai are so so very sad. They are sad about what their planet is enduring at this very moment. They are sad about what their future planet could look like someday! The ocean is being filled with trash...everyday each person creates 4 pounds of trash..that is a lot and it ends up in our ocean...killing fish and other sea animals. The worst part of all, is that this trash is so large, it has been mesured to be as large as the state of Texas. Here are ways to help that I think "as a busy mommy" I can do.
1. Use re-usable bags at the grocery store, playless has really cute ones for $1.99!
2. Plant your own garden!
3. Use vinegar, lemons and baking soda for cleaning!
4. Chose energy star appliances (if you can afford them)!
5. Check out Terracycle products (they are recycled cool things like purses)!
6. Weather strip your doors and windows, you will save money too!
7. Buy an LCD tv instead of a plasma.
8. Use a programable thermostate..I have one!
9. Eat less meat!
10.Grab a towel instead of paper napkin when the little monster spills something!

Easter Sunday

Hello to my family in Washington, this post is for you all! I Wish we could have more holidays together. LB had a wonderful time searching for eggs at his friend Abby's house. I (Kelli)am of course absent from the photos, hence being the photographer for the day. Beecher is now back at school for the evening while the kiddos and I get to play with trains and watch Sponge Bob Square Pants. Hope you have a nice dinner! Miss you all and have a Happy Easter! Green Hat!

So, LB is getting too old for mommy to take his picture. I even got a "talk to the hand" gesture from him...oh please LB..you are only 2 going on 3..and NO you don't have a modeling contract or anything! And YES the thrown boot was authentic..the little punk through his boot at me!
