Be Mine

So..its Valentine's Day...looking back six years ('03)...my first date with Beecher was on Valentine's Day and it was a blind date infact and full of fun, I even got a beautiful boquet of flowers.We spent the day go-cart racing...built a "build a bear" at the mall....and of course it ended with a kiss...actually NO it DIDN't....but it ended with a nice dinner in Seattle....and yes, on our VERY FIRST DATE we talked politics anbd religion..the two topics to avoid...I was also asked if I had credit card debt and if I was taking any medications for depression...Yeah..wow huh? Not to offend anyone on psychotropic medications..(I am a therapist..I understand)...further....now like I said..six years later, Valentine's night looks something like this....our 6 month old son, Kai is suffering the effects of vaccines..is now crying and has a fever..."get the Motrin hunny"....our two year old is watching Sponge Bob Square Pants..way too loudly....Beecher comes home from a day of studying (not exciting) and I am still in my PJ's trying to cook a nice dinner..(and its almost 10' o clock at night)..aaawww the memories of youth.....today was just as great as my Valentine's Day in '03....I got to spend it with three men..what more could a lady ask for??

Grandpa Beecher

Speding time with family was fantastic, since Beecher is currently soooo busy with school. Grandpa Beecher played with the boys for a week this month and the boys absolutely loved it! LB went to the Monster Truck event at the HSBC arena..and grandpa Beecher bought him his first Monster Truck.....very cool. This truck goes to sleep with LB, takes bathes with LB, and yes its even at the dinner table more than often. My boys are getting so big so fast, which makes me a little sad. I am glad they got to see their grandpa and spent time with him!

The Terrible 2's

So....I have many many examples of Lb acting like a typical two year old child. Yet, this was a funny example...getting into my makeup turned out to be quite fun...for the both of us..he thought that my dark espresso eye color looked "fabulous" as lipstick....in other words...terribly cute and terribly TWO!!
