Our Backyard...

We spent the day outside, since dad is busy with studying at the moment...we decided to get creative in the BACKYARD. Bug catching, gardening "weed pulling", cars and trucks, playing in the sandbox, and of course lots of brother time!

growing..growing...

So..the garden of Jesus, as I like to call it is growing...we now have Basil and Lettuce..pretty exciting..LB loves to help me pick a few things for dinner in the afternoon; however, he mostly picks things from the root...oh well, at least I am teaching him about being green and how to garden...happy summer everyone!

LB is 3 :)

So LB had his THIRD BIRTHDAY, and officially it was on the 3rd of June, yet perhaps we shall call it his BIRTHWEEK...since he had two parties a friends party and a grandparents party, so case in point; he is spoiled and each and every day this past week he would ask...."so today is my birthday party? I get cake and presents from friends?" Oh boy...Beecher and I are in for it..at least asking for a car is a "few" years away...

Gardening in our underware..well sort of :)

We spent a few weekends ago putting in the ultra fabulous Whiteaker Garden. Bell peppers, beans, squash, lettuce,spinach, tomatoes, and yes of course pumpkins... gigantic ones this year! LB helped open the seeds, Kai played on the lawn with his big brother while Beecher was hard at work....we even found Jesus in our garden. He had been there all along...hmmm kind of like life. No wonder we had such a thriving and plentiful garden last year, in was Christ centered...literally. We burried him back in the center of the garden...thanks God :)
